Personal Portfolio — Developer Website
Personal website designed to present my profile, projects, and technical growth through a polished and responsive experience
Problem
I wanted a place where I could present myself beyond LinkedIn and show my work in a way that felt more personal, intentional, and representative of my skills. The challenge was not only to build a portfolio from scratch, but to create one that could communicate professionalism while still feeling authentic to me.
Approach
I designed and built the site end to end, handling the visual direction, layout decisions, content structure, responsive behavior, and implementation details myself. Throughout the process, I treated the portfolio as both a product and a learning space, using it to improve my frontend skills while also shaping a clearer professional narrative.
Outcomes
- Created a unique and evolving space to present my profile, projects, and technical growth.
- Strengthened my understanding of frontend implementation, motion, and visual consistency.
- Built a personal project that can continue growing with me over time.
Contributions
- • Designed the full visual experience, including layout, hierarchy, and interaction patterns.
- • Implemented the site using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion.
- • Wrote and refined the project and profile content to make the site more personal, clear, and intentional.
- • Iterated on responsiveness and user experience across desktop and mobile views.
Lessons learned
- • Small visual decisions have a big impact on how polished and intentional a product feels.
- • A strong user experience requires thinking beyond desktop and paying close attention to behavior across different devices.
- • Personal projects can be some of the best spaces for growth because they allow room for experimentation, iteration, and identity.
